Cake Smash

A cake smash session is a great way to celebrate your little ones birthday and is a fun alternative to a typical portrait session. Our sessions are held outdoors or in your home.. The session includes family portraits, individual photos of your baby, followed by the cake smash and pictures in a cute bathtub at the end!

Why I love the outdoors for a cake smash! Mess is not a problem and there is more to explore when you’re outside. Bub will be centre stage in a natural background, with awesome natural light providing a pop to your images.

Please allow 8-10 weeks before bub turns one if you’d like the images to be ready for their birthday. I recommend booking in advance to ensure I can meet your deadline.

It is important to note that not all bubs like the cake smash. Be prepared for this, I have tricks up my sleeve to capture beautiful images for you. However, bubs typically love the bath portion, and this captures amazing, happy images.

But wait! A cake smash doesn’t just have to be for a little one. Cake Fight Sessions are perfect for bigger kids, siblings and even couples.

•  THE CAKE. I provide a decorated cake matched to the style of your shoot – I do ask that you provide your own cake if your child has allergies or specific dietary requirements.

• 20 edited high resolution images edited images ready to print and share.

If you want specific decorations or a particular cake we can accommodate.

All packages require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to secure a session date.
Remaining payment due one week before the scheduled session.
Additional images, prints and frames can be purchased.
